Anwara Group clinched the T20 Corporate Cricket League title beating Shihab Corporate House Ltd by five wickets in the final at the Dhaka Residential Model School & College ground on Saturday.
Batting first, Shihab Corporate House Ltd scored 116 runs for all in 19.3 overs with Orin scoring the team highest 27 runs.
Masum of Anwara Group took four wickets for 11 runs.
In reply, Anwara Group reached their target losing five wickets in 16.4 overs.
Shipon scored the match highest 40 runs for Anwara Group and was adjudged the man of the match while Taposh of the champions named as player of the tournament.
Former National Cricketer and Event Ambassador of the league Hannan Sarkar was the chief guest in the final. Head of HR & Corporate Affairs of Dan Cake Golam Habib and Principal Lt. Col. Kazi Sharif Uddin were present as special guests at the closing function.
