Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury has been re-elected president of the Bangladesh Chember of Industries (BCI) as a new committee took charge of the trade body on Saturday.
Anwar, who is the chairman of Evince Group and former president of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) will serve the post for the next two year.
Earlier on the day, Abdul Haque, chairman of the BCI election board announced the election result, said a press release.
The programme was also attended by AK Azad, former president at BCI and FBCCI and also the president of Dhaka University Alumni Association.
