Last December popular singer Anupoma Mukti lost her mother Hasna Hena. For the first time he will pass her birthday today without mother for the first time. While asking her about celebration of her birthday Anupoma Mukti became gloomy.
She said, “My mother on my birthday always called me to wake up from bed in the morning and she gifted me Belly flower. Now she is not alive but I always feel she remains beside me. May Allah keep her Jaanat.”
Anupoma Mukti was hailed from Ullapara of Sirajganj. Her mother called her Monira Mukti but her husband Sharif Rajkumar named her after Anupoma to express his love to her.
Anupoma started her music career with the hands of Yaqub Ali Khan. Later she received training from Mongal Chandra Mondal and till now from her husband Sharif Rajkumar. In Notun Kuri, she contested in rhyme and Tagore song. Since 1996 she has been enlisted as modern and Nazrul songs artiste in Betar and TV. Her first solo album Jhinuker Mukto was released in 2006.
Later she could not get the scope to release more solo album. In 2003, she first gave her voice for play-back song in movie Andhokarey Chita. Till now she rendered more than 50 play-back songs. Most of the time she has to be engaged to perform on stage shows. Her hosting is also being appreciated to all.
