Celebrated Indian singer, lyricist, music composer and director Anupam Roy from Kolkata, who is best known for his song Amake Aamar Moto Thakte Dao in filmmaker Srijit Mukharjee’s Autograph, will perform in Dhaka once again. He will perform tonight in a concert at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city’s Bashundhara Residential Area.
As a part of the series of concert organised by Antar Showbiz, popular Bangladeshi signers Nancy and Parvez will also perform on the same stage with Anupam at the concert titled Catch Anupam Roy Live in Dhaka at 7:00pm at ICCB’s Navaratri Hall on November 23.
This was announced at a press conference held at Dhaka Reporters Unity yesterday where Chairman of Antar Showbiz Swapan Chowdhury, Indian singer Anupam Roy, among others, were present at the press conference.
While talking about the arrangement of the concert Swapan Chowdhury said, “2 Banglar Gaan is my long-awaited thought. The audience in our country has too little opportunity to enjoy music in a wonderful environment. We have been inspired to see huge gathering of the audience in our past events and we are also grateful to the audience. At the same time, we want to create an array of all wonderful audience for Bangla songs.”
