Under the auspices of the Raozan Munshirghata Auto Rickshaw Driver Association, an anti-drug seminar was arranged at Munshirghata premises on Wednesday with its President and Poura Awami League leader Abdul Latif in the chair.
Panel Mayor-2 and President of Upazila Jubo league Md. Jamiruddin Parvez graced the occasion as chief guest. Officer in-charge of Raozan Thana Md. Kefayetullah was the chief discussant on the occasion.
Joint secretary of Jubo league, Raozan UZ Ahsan Habib Chowdhury Hasan attended the seminar as special guest. Among others, ward Jubo league joint secretary Abu Salek, Tapan Das Md. Asad, Saber Hossain, Upazila Chhatra League President Zilur Rahman Masud, General Secretary Shakawat Hossain chy, Poura Chhatra League President Anup , Gen Secretary Md. Asif, College Chhatra League President Arman and other jubo league and chatra league leaders were present on the occasion. The speakers in the seminar called upon all drivers of different types of transports plying on Chattogram Rangamati Road to play prime role to resist drug trafficking and trading, our Raozan Correspondent sources said.
