Astalift has launched it’s new Anti-ageing product “Astalift Scalp Care, Astalift Base Makeup and Astalift UV Protector” in Bangladesh in a colorful launching program at a city hotel, Dhaka recently.
A daylong event, which took place with launching of product namely ‘Astalift Scalp Focus’ was jointly organised by Graphic Medical and Equipment Ltd (GME Ltd), the distributor of Astalift brand products in Bangladesh and Japan-based Fujifilm, mother concern of the Astalift brand.
Dr Hassan Mahmud, the managing director of GME Group stress the commitment of FUJIFIM in developing and introducing effective Anti Aging Skin Care under the name Astalift in Bangladesh.
Astalift is an anti-ageing skincare brand developed using cutting edge, core technologies accumulated over 70 years of research and development.
These technologies include the findings of Fujifilm’s own collagen research, antioxidation expertise and micronization technology.
Collagen is not only the essential ingredient within photographic film; it is a key component of the skin. Antioxidants prevent images from fading in colour and repair and protect the skin from UV damage.
New Astalift shampoo, conditioner and hair essence were released as the Astalift Scalp Focus products on the day.
Khan Ferdous, Chief Operation Officer of GME Ltd said ‘Asta’ in Japanese language means ‘tomorrow’ and ‘Lift’ refers to the uplift of one’s inner emotions as beauty shines.
“So, Astalift is a meaningful promising brand that offers renewed skin,” he said.
He said it is the first anti-ageing global brand in Bangladesh which has been trading its products through direct distributor (GME Ltd).
Many other ageing-brand products are also sold in the country but through informal channels where there is a risk of adulteration.
“Original Astalift products are being distributed to the beauty and health-conscious consumers through GME Ltd for the last five years,” he said.
He informed the FE that the GME Ltd targeted the 30 plus aged group for its products.
“Our annual transaction is now above US $0.55 million in Bangladesh”, he said.
However, the daylong event included sessions with hair and makeup specialists, renowned physicians, beauty experts and distinguished dieticians who enlightened the guests with their expertise on skincare, haircare and healthier lifestyle.
Organisers said, ‘Astalift Scalp Essence’ offers the latest haircare nano-technology.
The proprietary ingredient ‘nano glycyrrhetinic acid’, a type of non-alcohol nano-particle generated by the nano shell technology, is enriched in the Essence, a scalp care solution to reach the base of the pores.
The Japanese brand also offers a shampoo to get better hair wash and a conditioner for shinier voluminous hair.
Asst Brand Manager of Fujifilm Hasan Rakibul Islam said Astalift offers carefully-researched skincare and supplement products with proven efficacy.
“Oxidation – the leading cause of freckles and skin ageing – is responsible for colour fading in photographs. Fujifilm has applied its advanced understanding of the process of anti-oxidation technology to create Astalift’s unique anti-ageing products,” he said.
