Md Mosaddeq-ul-Alam has joined Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank as Managing Director on Sunday, said a press release.
The Financial Institutions Division issued a circular on June 23 appointing him to the post on contractual basis for a period of one year on the condition of suspending post-retirement leave or PRL.
On being promoted, Mosaddeq-ul-Alam joined Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank as managing director on November 14, 2019.
Prior to the promotion, he served as the deputy managing director of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh.
In the past, he also served as the chairman of ICB Securities and Trading Company and WATA Chemicals.
He completed his graduation and post-graduation from Dhaka University and started his career as a senior officer at Janata Bank in 1985.
