Members of Ansar-VDP have been playing vital role in building a middle income digital Bangladesh through accelerating socioeconomic uplift in the rural areas, speakers at a conference said.
They were addressing the range level conference of Ansar-VDP at its Rangpur Range Office at Mahiganj area in the city on Monday with Rangpur Range Commander of the organisation Dulal Chandra Saha in the chair.
District Commanders of Ansar-VDP Mahbubar Rahman for Rangpur, SM Zakir Hossain for Lalmonirhat, AKM Ziaul Alam for Dinajpur, Abdus Samad for Kurigram and Rangpur Circle Adjutant Abul Mottalib addressed the conference, among others.
The District Commanders, Battalion and Unit Chiefs and other officials of Ansar-VDP from all eight districts and upazilas under Rangpur division attended the day-long conference that continued till the afternoon.
The conference discussed institutional, administrative and organisational issues in greater Rangpur-Dinajpur regions, manpower situation, different rallies, training courses and other regional programmes for the current fiscal year and administrative activities.
