Speakers at the concluding ceremony of a five-week long training course here on Monday afternoon asked the Ansar-VDP members for accelerating pace of socioeconomic uplift side by side establishing peace in the society.
They were addressing concluding ceremony of the technical training course arranged for the Ansar-VDP members on repairing and maintenance of mobile phone sets at Mahiganj Regional Vocational Training Centre of the organisation in the city.
Twenty-five Ansar-VDP members of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Naogaon, Chapainawabganj, Natore, Gaibandha, Kurigram and Nilphamari participated in the sixth phase training course to enhance skill and expertise on mobile phone set repairing and maintenance.
The participating young Ansar-VDP platoon members aged between 18 and 30 years and having minimum SSC level academic qualification were provided with practical training on repairing and maintenance of mobile phone sets in the course.
Rangpur Divisional Range Director of Ansar-VDP Dulal Chandra Sarker attended the concluding ceremony as the chief guest with Camp Commanding Officer and District Commander Mahbubur Rahman in the chair.
District Ansar-VDP Commander Mahbubur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Ansar-VDP Officer Md Abdur Rashid, Technical Trainer Akmal Hosain Shimu and Mishnur Islam conducted training course from April 2 to May 5 next in the sixth phase.
The speakers said Ansar-VDP members have been contributing significantly in building congenial atmosphere for rural uplift through creating mass public awareness to eliminate social crimes and curses side by accelerating socioeconomic advancement.
The chief guest said the Ansar-VDP has become the prime driving forces in building a middle income digital Bangladesh through contributing to the socioeconomic uplift as the biggest volunteer organisation of the country.
He also distributed certificates among the participants and asked them to utilize the knowledge and expertise they acquired from the course to achieve self-reliance for leading better life side by side serving the nation with utmost dedication.
