A total of 33,660 members of Ansar-VDP were deployed at 2805 polling centres in Sylhet division on Sunday. To ensure free, fair and accountable polls on December 30, such number of security forces was deployed in 4 districts in the Sylhet division.
Director of Sylhet division Ansar-VDP Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury confirmed the matter to media on Sunday.
Mass-Contact PRO of Sylhet Ansar-VDP Office, stated that, recruited Ansar-VDP members were sent to the polling centres on December 28. And they will remain on duty until December 3.1 Eight male and foure female members of Ansar-VDP will be on duty in each center.
