One ansar member named Bachchu Miah(45) was rounded up by CMP police on Thursday night from Halishahar EPZ area.
After searching his body, 90 pieces of intoxicated yaba tablets recovered . The ansar member was caught redhanded while selling these drugs at a tea stall of Ayesharma lane of the area.
Detained Bachchu miah hails from Habigonj district and was working in CUFL factory as ansar guard, said police.
EPZ thana Sub-Inspector Md. Nasim told that acting on secret information about his presence in the tea stall for selling these tablets, police conducted raid instantly and managed to apprehend him, sources said.
A case under narcotics act has been filed with the concerned police station, thana sources said.
