Bangladesh Ansar & VDP team emerged champions in the men’s group of the daylong Victory Day Gymnastics Competition held at the National Sports Council Gymnasium here on Saturday.
Ansar & VDP team clinched the title of the five-event meet securing all the five gold and silver medals alongside three bronze medals while Jim Engineers finished distant runners-up collecting only two bronze medals.
In the age group competition, Quantum Foundation smartly clinched the title securing five gold, seven silver and five bronze medals while Dinajpur DSA became runners-up with two gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
Vice President of Bangladesh Gymnastics Federation and Managing Director of Energy Pack Engineers Enamul Haque Chowdhury Khasru inaugurated the meet in the morning while Vice President of Bangladesh Olympic Association Mizanur Rahman Manu was the chief guest at the closing function in the afternoon.
