A youth was hacked to death at Barakpur under Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore on Sunday night.
The dead was identified as M Firoj, 35, son of Late Hemayet Ali Dafader of Panchanagar village under the same upazila.
Abu Saleh Masud Karim, officer in-charge, Jhikargachha police station told that the youth was killed over a feud of extra marital affairs with the wife of an expatriate man. The police picked up one for quizzing.
