Another suit was lodged before the Metropolitan Magistrate court in Chittagong yesterday against the former Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui for attacking the religious sentiment of Muslims .
This is fifth of such case so far lodged in Chittagong against him. Joint secretary of Ward Awami league of 12 No. ward Abdul Halim Khan lodged this case, sources said.
The case was filed under section 265, 298 and 153 of BPC. Counsel of the plaintiff Advocate Rafiqul Ahsan toldthiscorrespondent that a summon was issued against Latif Siddiqui by the court.
Earlier upto 1st october, four such cases have been lodged against him, sources said.
