Another countrywide campaign to administer booster doses of Covid-19 vaccines will be held on July 19, said the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday. The day will be observed as Covid-19 Booster Dose Day, said a notice signed by Dr Md Shamsul Haque.
Covid-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee, in association with all offices concerned, urged to encourage people to get their booster doses during the campaign, the notice said. According to the DGHS, the third dose of Pfizer vaccine will be given to all citizens aged 18 and above. Booster dose can be taken 4 months after taking the second dose. Competent people can take the booster dose from any vaccination center in the country. Vaccine administration will start at 9am and a vaccination document (vaccine card or certificate) is needed to take the booster dose.
