Another victim of Fatullah NGO office fire died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) here on Friday, raising the death toll from the incident to four.
Sohel, 20, succumbed to his injuries at the DU intensive care unit around 4:45 pm, said hospital sources.
Earlier, two other victims-Ferdous, 30, and Aslam, 26 — succumbed to their injuries at the DMCH on Thursday while Nasir, 30, at the same hospital on Monday last.
Five people suffered severe burn injuries as a blast took place at the Society for Social Service Office on the ground floor
of a four-storey building at Panchabati under Fatullah police station in Narayanganj district on March 15.
Soon after the explosion, a fire spread across the flat through the gas pipeline. The incident happened while electrical servicing was going on there.
The injured were first taken to a local hospital from where they were shifted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in the capital.
