A man named Mostafizur Rahman (53) has died of new corona virus in Naogaon. Three people died with this. Mostafizur Rahman was a resident of Bangabaria mahalla of the city. In addition, 3 more bank officials have been identified as corona positive. The total number of victims in the district is 163 people. Of these, 99 have returned home healthy. Civil Surgeon Dr Akhtaruzzaman Alal confirmed the matter on Wednesday morning.
He said Mostafizur Rahman used to work as a security guard of a bank in Dhaka’s Maghbazar. He came to Naogaon on June 5 with corona symptoms including sore throat. When his condition deteriorated on the 8th, he was admitted to the Corona Unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The sample test was positive.
He died in the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. Naogaon district administration was officially buried at the central graveyard at 1 pm tonight. Meanwhile, the district administration has announced a lockdown of Islami Bank Naogaon branch and the residences of the affected officials due to corona of some officers in Islami Bank, Naogaon branch.
So far, 8,611 people have been taken to the quarantine and 7,307 people have been given clearance. At present there are 1,304 people in quarantine.
