UNB, Chittagong :
A minor girl, who sustained injuries following gas cylinder blast of a microbus at Suabeel in Fatikchhari upazila on Monday, died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital on Friday night , raising the death toll from the incident to five.
The deceased was identified as Promi Akther,9, daughter of Mohammd Shafi of Lachri village of the upazila.
Dr Mishma Islam, a physician of CMCH burnt unit, said Promi was admitted to the hospital with 70 percent burn injuries. She succumbed to her injuries around 10 pm on Friday.
When Dubai expatiate Shafiul Alam was returning
to his village in a microbus from Shah Amanat airport along with his mother and some other relatives the gas cylinder of the microbus blasted at Suabeel in Fatikchhari upazila on Monday, leaving four people dead on the spot and seven others injured.
