A young woman, who was injured in a gas pipeline explosion at Patharghata in the city on November 17, succumbed to her injuries at Chattogram Medical College Hospital on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Tisha Gaumage, 24, daughter of Anal Gaumage of Patharghata.
She was a B.Com student at Chattogram Islamia University College and a part-time teacher of Saint John’s Grammar School of the area.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Alauddin of CMCH Police Outpost said she died around 11am.
Her family members have already received the body, he added.
The explosion during the morning rush hour left seven people dead on the spot and left 15 others injured.
Tisha, who was passing through the area, had sustained serious injuries.
