Another accused reportedly confessed to the killing of Gaibandha-1 MP Manjurul Islam Liton before a court here on Thursday.
Senior Judicial Magistrate Joynal Abedin recorded the statement of Anwarul Islam Rana around 8pm.
With this, four accused have made their confessional statements before the court.
Earlier, Mehedi, Shamim and Hannan confessed to their involvement in the killing of the ruling party MP.
Liton was shot at point blank range by some miscreants at his village home at Masterpara in Bamandanga union of Sundarganj Upazila on December 31.
He was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
