Another brand new Dash 8-400 aircraft has reached Dhaka on Friday evening, to join the fleet of the national flag carrier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
It landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 6pm, said Tanvir Ahmed, public relation officer at the civil aviation ministry.
This is the last one of the three Dash 8-400 aircraft that the Bangladesh government has bought from Canada, under a government to government (G2G) deal.
The new aircraft -Shwetbalaka – departed for Bangladesh from De Haviland Bombardier Aerospace of Canada. Earlier, two more aircrafts of the same model reached the country in recent months.
