Another worker who suffered burn injuries in a boiler explosion at a rice mill in Sadar upazila of the district on Wednesday last died on Monday.
Sources said the injured, Monoranjan, 37, died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital around 8:30am, raising the death toll from the incident to 13. Meanwhile,
Morzina Begum, wife of a deceased worker, Ripon, filed a case against rice mill owner Subol Gosh and two other people with Kotowali Police Station on Sunday night, said Redwan Rahim, officer-in-charge of the police station.
Earlier, eight more injured succumbed to their injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital, Rangpur Medical College Hospital and Dinajpur Medical College Hospital on Sunday.
