BSS, Dhaka :
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), AFC B diploma part two course was concluded a few days ago with a full contingent of coaches, said a BFF press release on Wednesday.
After part one of the course that took place in November last year. The coaches were from either some Bangladesh Premier League or Bangladesh Championship League clubs undertook a variety of theory, practical and knowledge-based tasks over a ten-day period.
As part of the course, the coaches undertook match analysis tasks at the recently concluded Federation Cup quarter, semi and final match stages. This provided a real challenge to them during many interesting and exciting encounters. The course was graced with some former national team players who had experienced the game at the top level like Abdullah Lalul, Biplob, Kanchan, Titu, Amin Rana, Meshu, Hasan Al Mamun, Nazrul, Hasan and others.
The coaches now have some additional works to do before confirming their completion of their coaching portfolio and practical assessment opportunities.
National technical director Paul Smalley said: “it’s a pleasure working with all the coaches on the course, as they all bring their own subtleness of experiences which adds to the authenticity, the content and modern thinking. We look forward to their coaching portfolio, their tasks and ideas over the coming weeks”
The BFF is hosting another BFF AFC B diploma part two course started today at BFF conference room with another 35 participants from Part one. This course will conclude on January 29 and participants will go through the same as the previous group with some additional work to earn their competency.
