UNB, Lalmonirhat :A day after the killing of two Bangladeshis along Satkhira frontier, another Bangladeshi national was gunned down by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Gotamari border in Hatibandha upazila early Friday.Friday’s victim was identified as Amulya Chandra Barman, 38, a cattle trader and son of Mohesh Chandra Roy of Daikhola inHatibandha upazila. When a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders were trying to bring cattle from India, a patrol team of BSF from 21 Bara Maricha camp fired gunshots, leaving Amulya dead on the spot, said Lt Col Bazlur Rahman Hayati, captain of 15 BGB battalion of the district.Earlier on Thursday, two Bangladeshi nationals were killed as BSF members opened fire on them at Tarali in India opposite to Taluigachha border in Satkhira sadar upazila when they were returning to the country with smuggled goods.
