Detectives on Saturday arrested another FIR-listed accused in Buet student Abrar Fahad murder case from Uttara Sector No 14 in the capital.
The arrestee is Moaz Abu Hurayra, 20, son of Mashrur-uz-Zaman of Pirpur village under Kuliarchar upazila in Kishoreganj and a student of 17th batch of electrical and electronic engineering department of Buet.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner of DMP (media), said Moaz was arrested around 11 am.
Abrar Fahad, 21, a second year student of electrical and electronic engineering department, was beaten to death on Monday allegedly by Chhatra League activists at Buet’s Sher-e-Bangla Hall.
Abrar’s father Barkatullah filed the case with Chawkbazar Police Station on Monday evening accusing 19 people. The case was transferred to DB on Tuesday.
