Journalist Kajol Ghosh for the first time is making a movie. He has started shooting of his directed first short film titled Urdi at BFDC on Friday. National Film Award winner cinematographer Mahfuzur Rahman is working to take different shoots of short film Urdi.
Under the story written by Haripada Dutta Kajol Ghosh is making the film. Kajol himself has written its script. In the short film, for the first time Shatabdi Wadud is acting with Anonna Ruma.
Story of the film revolves with buying a shirt incidentally by a rickshaw-puller which was found from Vietnam War. Shatabdi played the role of that rickshaw-puller, while Annona Ruma acted in a special role in the short film.
While talking about making the short film its director Kajol Ghosh told this correspondent, “It is first direction in my life. I am really feeling something emotional reaction in my mind. By this making everybody will find my new identity. Till now I cannot say that it may be my first and last work. I am trying to make the short film cordially.”
Actor Shatabdi Wadud shared his feelings by this way, “Story of the short film is nice. I am trying my level best to portray my role properly.”
Anonna Ruma said, “Kajol is one of my best friends. I am really glad to be part of his first work as a performer. In fact, I am working from that thinking.”
Kajol informed that within very short time the short film will be released on Youtube and will be screened in different film festivals. Jayita Mahalanobish is also acting in a role in the film. Its shooting will be finished today.
