Annual sports competition of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall of Dhaka University (DU) was held on Monday at the Central Play Ground of DU.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of DU Professor Dr Nasrin Ahmad distributed the prizes among the winners in the afternoon while Treasurer Professor Dr Kamal Uddin inaugurated the competition in the morning.
Samsul Alam, a third-year student of Economics department emerged as the champion of the competition while M Hamidur Rahman became runner-up in the competition.
Provost of the Bangabandhu SMR Hall Professor Mofizur Rhaman presided over the function.
Professor A S M Maksud Kamal, President of DU Teacher’s Association: Professor Rahmat Ullah, Dean of Law faculty and Professor Abul Mansur Ahmed, a senate member of DU also present among others in the occasion.
