Annual Sports Competition-2017 and Prize Ggiving Ceremony of Adamjee Cantonment Public School was held on Wednesday at school playground in Dhaka Cantonment.
Major General SM Matiur Rahman, afwc, psc, Adjutant General of Bangladesh Army and his wife Syeda Towhida Rahman was the chief guest and special guest respectively. The chief guest reviews the smartly turned out parade performed by the students and took salute. They also enjoyed many attractive events performed by the students.
Special guest Begum Rahman disbuted prizes among the winners. Commander, 46 Independent Infantry Brigade and President of Governing Bodies of the school Brigadier General Abul Mansur Md. Ashraf Khan, ndc, psc was also present on the occasion. The Ibrahim House received the champion trophy by getting 54 points. On the other hand Kaykobad House received runner up trophy by getting 48 points. It is mentioned that almost 3,000 students of the school participated in 65 events.
Amongst other guests, senior army and civil officers, teachers of the school and guardians were also present to enjoyed the sports events.
Earlier, Principal of the school Lt. Colonel Mohammad Monjur Morshed, psc welcomed the chief guest and the special guest on their arrival in the programme.
