Kakoli Saha, a master degree student of Philosophy Department of Dhaka University (DU) became champion in the Annual Sports Competition of Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall of DU while Monisha Aich, a third year student of Marketing Depertment finished runner-up in the sports meet on Wednesday. The sports competition was held at the Central Play Ground of DU.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the sports meet in the yesterday morning as the chief guest.
After the sports competition, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmad distributed the prizes among the winners. Provost of Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall Professor Dr Sabita Rezwana Rahman, residential teachers of the Hall and the officials of the Physical Education Centre of DU were present at the time.
