Annual sports competition of Mirpur Cantonment School ends

The annual sports competition of Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College concluded at the college playground here on Monday.
Buriganga house became champion and Bangshi House became runners-up in the competition. Shahriar of Turag House emerged as best athlete in Boy’s group and Zareen of Shitalakha House and Adrita of Bangshi House jointly became best athletes in Girl’s group.
Prior to beginning the sports a colourful physical display and impressive march past were held participated by the students of the college.
On the closing day six events were held. President of governing body of the college Brigadier General Md. Meftaul Karim, ndc, psc attended the sports competition as the chief guest while his spouse Salma Binte Karim distributed prizes among the winners as special guest.
Principal of the college Lt. Colonel Syed A K Sabbir Ahmed, teachers, students and guardians were also present on the occasion.
