Annual reunion of “JnU former students unity council” of Accounting Department of Jagannath University (JnU) 1991-92 academic year held in a city restaurant on Friday.
Prof Md. Ali Nur, former chairman of the Accounting Department delivered speech as chief guest in the reunion. In speech as the chief guest, he said, “We want to be the champion department in the country. There are already many successes from our department.”
“I want your cooperation to build our department as role model to others, even we have arranged scholarships for poor students so that they can easily build up their skills”, he added.
Prof Dr Shokat Jahangir, Dean of Business Faculty of Jagannath University, Prof Dr Liaquat Hossain Mahmud, Chairman of Accounting Department were present as special guests in the reunion. By this, JnU former students unity council organized the annual reunion of their alumni for the third time.
In chair of Mahidur Rahman Palak, Md. Abul Hasnat gave the welcome speech. On the occasion of reunion former students of the Accounting Department 1991-92 academic year were present in the reunion.
