The Annual Athletics Competition of Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall of Dhaka University (DU) was held at the Central Play Ground of DU on Wednesday.
Md Hasib Hasan, a fourth year student of Philosophy Department and Abdullah Al Mubin, a student of Accounting & Informations Systems Department emerged as the joint-champions of the meet, while Md Hamidur Rahman, a fourth year student of Public Administration Department became runner-up of the competition.
Earlier, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of DU Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the athletics competition as the chief guest.
Later, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) of DU Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmed distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Provost of Muktijoddha Ziaur Rahman Hall Professor Dr Md Zia Rahman presided over the prize-giving ceremony. The senior teachers of DU and a good number of students were present at the time..
