On the occasion of coming Eid-ul- Azha, popular singer Ankhi Alamgir is going to release a new song titled Piya Giyechhe Dubai. Indian lyricist Priyo Chattopadhyay wrote lyrics of the song while the music arrangement and composition has been done by noted Indian music composer Akassh Sen.
Singer Ankhi Alamgir informed that she has finished recording for the song recently in India and seems very hopeful about the success of the song.
While talking in this regard, the singer said, “I think those who like to dance will surely enjoy this song. It is a sweet song. People who are maintaining a long-distance relationship will also be able to connect with this song. We are presenting the song to the audience in a mix of some fun and dance. Even the head of the music publishing company Dhruba Music Station liked the song and I hope the viewers will also like and enjoy it.”
The music video of the song Piya Giyechhe Dubai has been directed by Chandan Roy Chowdhury and it will be released on Dhruba Music Station, Ankhi also said.
She added that the song goes as when loved ones are far away, it seems nothing is complete. The lack of the loved one is a feeling that haunts always. Even if there is an option to stay connected digitally, it does not feel enough. Thus there is a long waiting that stays. Along with Dhruba Music Station’s YouTube Channel, the song will be available on some other platforms too.
Ankhi’s new party song titled Pagol Banaili will be also released this Eid.
Ankhi Alamgir is the only singer in Bangladesh who won the National Film Award for both singing and acting. She won the National Film Award for her first performance as a child artiste in the movie Bhat De’ directed by late Amjad Hossain. Later, she won the National Film Award for the song titled Golpo Kothar Oi Kalploke Jani tuned by Runa Laila and Gazi Mazharul Anwar wrote the lyrics for the movie Ekti Cinemar Golpo, which was directed by her father, noted film actor Alamgir.
