Listeners’ choice popular singer Ankhi Alamgir is coming with two new music videos on the occasion of coming Pahela Boishakh. Ankhi will be seen to render Shahidullah Faraezi written two songs – one is composed by Alauddin Ali and another is by Zooel Morshed. These two songs will be released under the banners of Bangla Dhol and Dhruba Music Station.
Ankhi has already finished recording of the song of Alauddin Ali. Within very short days she will also finish recording of another song. On March 8, Ankhi will also take part in shooting of another song’s video. Alauddin Ali written song is based on Boishakhi context while Zooel Morshed’s song is romantic genre. After completing recording of the song its music video will be done. It was confirmed by owner of Dhruba Music Station, Dhruba Guha yesterday.
While talking about the two new songs Ankhi Alamgir told this correspondent, “It is really a great luck for me because I am coming with two new songs with videos in the beginning of Bangla New Year. Two songs will be released under two separate production houses. So I have my level best effort to make these successful.”
Ankhi informed that now she has been engaged with different stage shows. Yesterday she took part in a stage show in Rajendrapur. Today she will be engaged in Rangpur and round the week she will pass busy days with other shows in Dhaka and Chittagong. “I always feel comfortable to perform on the stage. So I always enjoy stage performances,” she added.
It is noted that during childhood Ankhi got the National Film Award for playback song in Amzad Hossain movie Bhat Dey.
