After a break of four years, National Film Award winning playback singer Andrew Kishore has lent his voice to a new song titled Buk bhora ki shukh je aamar chokhey under the music composition of talented music director Farid Ahmed once again. Lyrics of the song were written by Mohammed Rafiquzzaman. The recording of the song took place in Resh Studio located in the capital’s New Eskaton area recently. The song will be used in an upcoming movie titled Odhikar directed by Md Atiqur Rahman While talking about his rendition Andrew Kishore told this correspondent, “As it is my profession to sing for the movies, from that point of view, I can say that the play-back song is really good. Farid Ahmed has done the work with lots of care. I am hopeful that the audience will like it.”
Farid Ahmed said, “We gave emphasis on the originality while working with the songs for movie Odhikar. I am very optimistic about the song rendered by Andrew Kishore.” It is mentioned that Andrew Kishore rendered a play-back song last time for Nader Chowdhury directed movie Lalchor under the music direction of Farid Ahmed.
