Anderson ruled out of Pakistan ODIs

It’s an early exit from the ongoing Pakistan series for Kiwi all-rounder Corey Anderson as he is heading home with a heel problem.
Because of the injury, Anderson was not available for selection in the last T20I against Pakistan, and now he is ruled out of the ODI series as well.
Anderson is not the only one in the New Zealand campaign to have picked up an injury. Leg-spinner Todd Astle too has got a knee |irritation” which will most certainly keep him out of the first ODI, and his participation in the rest of the series is also in doubt.
The Black Caps have found a replacement for Astle in left-arm spinner Ajaz Patel, who made his T20I debut in Abu Dhabi. Patel has been added to the one-day squad to cover for Astle. Batsman George Worker and fast bowler Lockie Ferguson have also been added to the group to fill the vacant spots left when the squad was originally selected.
The Kiwis were whitewashed 3-0 at the hands of the T20 giants Pakistan in the 20-over format. They will begin the 50-over campaign from Wednesday (November 7).
