Khudey Gaanraj famed singer Ananya Acharya is receiving training from noted classical singer of the Subcontinent Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. Earlier, Ananya wanted to receive training from him. In 2015, Ananya suddenly met with Ajoy Chakraborty in Kolkata. She expressed her desire to him. After two years later, Ananya first got the opportunity to learn classical music from Ajoy Chakraborty. From that time to till now she has been receiving training from him in Kolkata.
While talking in this regard Ananya said, “From childhood, I had dreamt to learn classical music from Pandit Ajoy Chakraborty. My dream came into true. I like his rendering style. My family and I are grateful to him. I want to continue my learning from him.”
Ananya also said that she first got training in music from her mother and then Shitol Ghoshal. Later she also received training from Ustad Sanjeeb Dey, Anil Kumar Saha, Ashit Dey, Ferdous Ara, Bijon Chandra Mistry, Farida Parvin, Moinul Islam Khan, Kanakchapa and Chhayanaut. Now she is studying Honours in Music at Jagannath University. Recently her song titled Olpo Boyos has been released on YouTube channel.
