Khulna Division, rode on Anamul Haque and Tushar Imran’s brilliant centuries to take a healthy 190 runs lead after the second day’s play of the tier 1 of four-day National Cricket League (NCL) held on Wednesday at BKSP ground in Savar.
Khulna Division resuming their first innings on the second day (Wednesday) at overnight score of 101 for 1 with Mehedi Hasan on 55 and Anamul on 8, and finally were all out for 371.
Earlier Barisal Division were bundled out in their first innings total of 171 allowing a massive first innings lead of 200 runs.
In reply, Barisal Division started their second innings in the afternoon and scored 10 for no loss. Abu Sayeem with 5 and Shahriar Nafees with 4 at the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Anamul 136 came off 202 balls studded with eleven fours and six incredible sixers while Tushar Imran also starred in runs feast with 108 off 191 deliveries laced with twelve boundaries and a sixer. Mehedi with 57 was the other notable Khulna batsman.
