Anamul hits ton as Khulna take massive lead on day 2 in NCL

Anamul Haque scored a brilliant ton to steer Khulna Division to take a massive 357 runs lead over Dhaka Metropolis after the second day’s play of the four-day National Cricket League (NCL) on Wednesday at Kan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Anamul scored a brilliant knock of 122 as Khulna finished the second day with 272 for 3 with Tushar Imran 73 and Mohammad Mithun 0 on the crease at stumps on the day.
Dolar Mahmud, Abu Haider and Arafat Sunny captured one wicket each for Metropolis.
Earlier, Dhaka Metropolis resumed their first innings on the second day at overnight score of 37 for 3 and finally dismissed at 122, in reply to Khulna Division’s first innings total of 207. Sharifuddin top scored for Metropolis with 38 runs.
Spinner Abdur Razzak, Ashiquzzaman and Al-Amin Hossain were the pick of Khulna’s bowlers as they grabbed three wickets conceding 15, 31 and 39 runs respectively.
