Lightning strike kills two in Kushtia

BSS, Kushtia :Two members of a family were killed as thunderbolt hit them in Bheramara upazila of the district on Tuesday night.The deceased were identified as Ruma Khatun, 34, and her nephew Ratul, 16. Both are the residents of Maharajapur village under the upazila.Bheramara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Sohel Maruf said they were struck by thunderbolt outside their house around 9 pm last night during the rain.Ruma and Ratul were rushed to Bheramara Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor...
