Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, MP, has called for a collective efforts of all government, entrepreneurs, banks and other financial institutions concerned for effective and successful promotion of Small and Medium Enterprizes (SMEs) for bolstering the country’s economy.
He also emphasised the need for strengthening the efforts of generating enlightened entrepreneurs in grassroots through the best uses of area based industrial potentialities. To this end, the ministry of industries will always remain besides the endeavors, the minister further says while inaugurating a five-day Regional SME Fair-2014, Rajshahi today as the chief guest.
SME Foundation organised the fair at Green Plaza in the city to promote local SME sector, enhance production of quality SME products, exhibition and introduction of SME goods for expanding business, trade and commerce.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, MP, addressed the opening session as the special guest with KM Habib Ullah, Chairman of SME Foundation, in the chair.
