Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu left here for a two-nation tour to Australia and New Zealand yesterday night to make field visits to the technical standard controlling institutions of those two countries and thus exchange experiences.
The Industries Minister is leading a five-member Bangladesh delegation to the two-nation tour. The other delegation members include Industries Ministry additional secretary M Enamul Haque, deputy chief Dr M Al Amin Sarker, assistant project director M Nurul Amin Khan and APS to the Minister FM Mahmud, said a handout.
During his tour to Australia, Amu will visit Standards Australia, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, Professional Standards Council, Christchurch City Council and exchange views with the high-ups of those organizations, collect necessary data and information as well as take insights about the implementation strategy.
