Minister for Industries Amir Hossain Amu on Friday said about 60-70 percent people in developed countries are educated with technological education while only 10 percent people in the country are educated with this type of learning.
“If we educate our population with technical education, they will serve as manpower in the country” he added.
The minister was addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural function of three-day National Science and Technology Week-2017 on the premises of Jhalokati Government Technical School and College in the town. Deputy Commissioner Md Hamidul Haque presided over the function. Chairman of Zilla Parishad Sardar Md Shah Alom, Additional Police Super Muhammad Abdur Rakib and Awami League leader advocate Khan Sifullah Panir, among others, spoke on the occasion.
