You must have seen Amitabh Bachchan using the word Badumbaaa quite often on his social media whenever he is very happy. He has made this word popular alone. The actor has now created a song called Badumbaaa for his upcoming film 102 Not Out, which he has sung and composed as well. At the launch of the song today, Big B was asked about where this word came from, to which he replied saying, “Bas aise he man mein aa gaya yeh shabd… Kabhi ullas hua ya kabhi kisi ne achchi baat kahi ya kabhi India ne match jeet liya. Phir main use baar baar dalta raha.” He further added, “Khushi hone par log Wow ya Yay word use karte hain. Maine pucha kahan se aaya yeh? Koi bata nahin paya. Maine socha apna he word bana dete hain (Laughs).”
His co-star from 102 Not Out, Rishi Kapoor added, “Jaise Yahooooo shabd popular ho gaya tha. Ab uska kya matlab hai? Waise he Badumbaaa bhi ek expression hai.” The popular pair of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor will be seen together on the big screen after 27 years in Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out.
