He was the ultimate king of the movies in the ’70s. So much that he was often called the one-man industry. Amitabh Bachchan, the man with the Midas touch. Then it looked like his reign would continue forever. But by the time the ’80s petered out, the sun was beginning to set on him. His on screen magic had started to fade. The unthinkable had happened.

It’s said that one day in desperation he went to Yash Chopra and asked him for work. Yash Chopra cast him in his son Aditya Chopra’s movie Mohabbatein. The movie released on October 27, 2000. The movie got Big B back with a bang. And the rest as they say is history.
