Amit Hasan is a reputed actor of the country’s film industry. Once he acted as a single hero in the movies. He presented some viewers’ choice movies to the film-lovers. Later, in case
of acting, he broke himself by playing various characters in
different films. As a villain, he also became successful in
cinemas. But many directors and fans of Amit Hasan mentioned that he did not use properly in the silver screen. In our country, it is a trend that when actors became matured in acting, then numbers of their works are to be reduced day by day.
Amit Hasan is an experienced film actor. Now this time he doesn’t have huge works which should be more than required number. But Amit Hasan has no penitent in this regard. According to the actor, he has willingness to act in more challenging roles in future. He has keen interest to prove himself in the field of acting. For this reason, still now he is waiting to work in more movies which stories are to be good. He is still dissatisfaction in this regard. In his 32 years of acting career, this actor yet not gets the National Film Award.
While sharing his feelings in this regard, Amit Hasan said, “There are many viewers’ choice movies where I acted well regarding me. If I specially mention names of the movies, these are: ‘Bidrohi Premik,’ ‘Ujan Bhati,’ ‘Tumi Shudhu Tumi’ and ‘Bini Sutar Mala.’ In the meantime, I can mention titles of two movies where I became successful playing roles of villain in movies ‘Eito Prem’ and ‘Shahenshah.’ But I couldn’t get the National Film Award. So, after getting loves from so many fans and film-lovers, this always gives me a pain. I have been giving effortless labour for acting to this film industry for many years but couldn’t get the state honour till now. I didn’t get recognition for acting at the national level. It is really painful for me, which I cannot express in a word.”
Meanwhile, today is the birthday of Amit Hasan. He has no special plan to celebrate the day. The actor told this correspondent he will pass the day along with his wife and two daughters. He seeks prayers from all.
It is noted that Amit Hasan tied the nuptial knot with Laboni Hasan on February 12 in 1995. Amit-Laboni has two daughters in the conjugal life. They are: Lamisa and Samanta.
Hailed from Tangail, Amit Hasan has produced two movies – ‘Ke Apon Ke Por’ and ‘Bini Sutar Mala’ – till date. Till now he has acted in 15 television dramas. Opposite Dhallywood’s popular heroine Moushumi, Amit Hasan acted in Kaiser Ahmed directorial drama titled ‘Gram Gonjer Meye,’ which story was written by Aftab Bin Tomiz.
