Amirul Haque Chowdhury is a living legend in the country’s theatre and film arenas. Recently he has returned from USA. This time visit in USA he received three awards.
Established in 1971, Bangladesh Association of Los Angeles (BALA), Eito Aamra and Congressman’s Man Braids were awarded to Amirul Haque Chowdhury. He received these awards in October. On that day, a theatre play titled Ekjon Nuru Mia was also staged in Los Angeles. From BALA Amirul Haque Chowdhury got the Lifetime Achievement Award. Amirul Haque became very much excited to receive the three awards.
While sharing his feelings in this regard Amirul Haque told this correspondent, “It is really my pleasure and memorable moment for me to receive three awards. I love my acting which I couldn’t believe earlier. Everybody pray for me.”
After returning Bangladesh Amirul Haque again became engaged with acting. Al Hazen’s Hoolsthool and Faridul Hasan’s Comedy 420 are Amirul Haque acted two new serials.
Amirul acted first movie was Arunodoyer Agnisakkhi. Later, he also acted in movies Chaka, Dukhai, Nirontor, etc.
