Kulkhani of eminent woman personality Amena Khatun was held on Friday. On this occasion, Qur’an Khani and Doa Mahfil were held separately at the residence of the deceased at New Hat on Friday after noon, and also at the Central Mosque and Madrasa in Charsahapur.
Amena Khatun’s eldest son Bir Muktijoddha and former police DIG Mahfuzul Islam Ranju, fourth son Additional Secretary Monowarul Islam Sohel, sixth son CID SP Saiful Islam and younger son prominent businessman Nahidul Islam Noble, Additional Superintendent of Police Firoz Kabir were present.
President of Radi Upazila Press Club Touhid Akter Panna, members of Muktijoddha Sangsad and eminent personalities attended the occasion.
Amena Khatun died of old age at her residence at Charsahapur Natun Hat in Ishwardi on Friday, 29 last month. In her long life, she educated 8 boys and 1 girl who are currently holding various important positions in the administration.
