Agricultural Marketing Company Ltd-AMCL (PRAN) declared 32 per cent cash dividend to its shareholders for the year 2014-2015 at the 30th Annual General Meeting held at Trust Milonayaton in the city on Tuesday.
Lt Col Mahtabuddin Ahmed (Retd), Chairman, Md. Eleash Mridha, Managing Director, Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director, M. A. Mannan, Independent Director, Uzma Chowdhury, Director Finance, Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Chief Financial Officer, Chowdhury Kamruzzamna, Director Marketing and Muhammad Aminur Rahman Company Secretary attended in the General Meeting.
Shareholders thanked the management for achievements of the Company over the years and made valuable suggestions for improvement in running the business in the upcoming years.
It was reported that in spite of stiff competition in the market, the pre-tax profit of the Company was Tk 7.12 crore in 2014-15 while gross turnover was Tk 210 crore, and the total export figure was Tk. 34.8 crore (including incentive).
