Amazon, an American e-commerce giant, is interested to sell Bangladeshi products in the global market through its network worldwide.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak told this to newspersons after a meeting with Amazon’s representatives at ICT Tower in the capital’s Agargaon area on Wednesday.
“Amazon wants to sell Bangladeshi products globally through its online platform. We’re now thinking of policies and strategies in this regard,” said the minister.
“Whether they will begin their business here in Bangladesh, it totally depends on their will and our policies,” he added.
